This page lists dates and other information for all the local beer festivals which we are aware of in the coming months, for the benefit of drinkers who are looking for something a little different. The branch is always happy to help with publicising events which promote real ales and/or real ciders; note however that these festivals are not run or officially endorsed by CAMRA, unless explicitly stated in the description.

Thursday 29th July - Sunday 1st August

Moreton Beer and Cricket Festival. Bear at Home, North Moreten, OX11 9AT. Beers from West Berks, Vale, White Horse, Shotover, Loddon, Boxsteam, Butts, Pitstop and Taylors. Live music every evening.

Tuesday 3rd August - Saturday 7th August

Great British Beer Festival (CAMRA). Earl's Court, London. 450+ beers, ciders, perries & foreign beers.

Friday 6th August - Sunday 8th August

Chester Arms, 19 Chester Street, Oxford. The pub's 5th Annual beer festival. Featuring 18 real ales, real ciders, BBQ, and live music.

Friday 6th August - Sunday 8th August

Three Horseshoes, 16 The Green, Garsington. 10 real ales. Live music Friday PM (Cookoo's Nest) and Saturday PM (Dixie and Co). BBQ Friday. Pig Roast Saturday.

Saturday 7th August

Bicester Round Table Beer Festival. At the Jazz in the Park evening at Garth Park, Bicester. Featuring approx. 24 beers and 4 ciders. All monies raised go to local charities.

11th Worcester Beer, Cider & Perry Festival (Worcester CAMRA). Worcester Racecourse.

Saturday 21st August

George and Dragon, Silver Street, Chacombe, nr Banbury.

Monday 23rd August

Cider Festival. Royal Windsor Racecourse, Madenhead Road, Windsor.

The Fox, Steventon. Live music and fundraising for the British Legion.

Beer and Music Festival. Fox Inn, Enstone Road, Middle Barton, nr Chipping Norton.

Harbury Beer Festival. Village Hall, South Parade, Harbury, nr Leamington Spa. 60+ beers, ciders and perries.

Friday 3rd September - Sunday 5th September

Wallingford Bunkfest. At various venues across Wallingford during the weekend. Featuring "music, dance, steam and beer". 30+ beers and ciders.

Tuesday 21st September - Saturday 25th September

Autumn Beer Festival. Far from the Madding Crowd, 10-12 Friars Entry, Oxford.

Friday 24th September - Saturday 25th September

4th Ascot Racecourse Beer Festival. 200+ beers, ciders and perries.

Friday 24th September - Sunday 26th September

North Cotswold Beer Festival (CAMRA). Morten-in-Marsh Cricket Club, Batsford Road, Moreton-in-Marsh.

Friday 24th September - Sunday 26th September

Music, Beer and Sausage Festival. Cricketers Arms, Littleworth. Focus on real ales from newer local breweries, with beers from Shotover, Compass, Thame, Patriot, and others.

Thursday 14th October - Saturday 16th October

Oxford CAMRA Beer Festival. Oxford Town Hall. 5-11pm Thur, 11am-11pm Fri, 11am-8pm Sat. Featuring around 140 different real ales and around 30 real ciders/perrys.
