We have picked 25 pubs from all across the branch area and have published a Trail Card (PDF, 11kbytes) listing them. Trail cards can be obtained from the participating pubs, which are listed below. The idea is that people following the trail get a sticker for their card from the bar staff when they visit a pub on the list. People who collect at least 8 stickers on the "inside the ring-road" list of pubs and at least 8 stickers on the "outside the ring-road" list can send us their card and will be entered into a free prize draw. Note that you don't have to complete the Trail during Pubs Week itself - the closing date for entries to the prize draw is 8th August. Finally, we would also like to make it clear that no pub should feel slighted because it isn't on the list. There are some 300 pubs in the branch area, and we had loads of ideas for pubs to include, but to keep the trail to a managable size and make the logistics of producing cards and stickers manageable we had to limit ourselves to a restricted number of pubs. Just because a pub doesn't get a mention on the trail this year doesn't mean that it isn't a great pub - and drinkers who enjoy completing the trail should regard that as a starting point for their exploration of local pubs, not the end!
